Katie and Jason got married at Botley Hill Barn. The lighting at this venue is to die for! It was such a fun filled wedding, the guests spent the entire day laughing and having the best time. I really loved the crittal doors on the barn, the perfect industrial clean backdrop for the family photos. Katie and Jason were all about the natural photos, with only 5 minutes of couple shots during the day and another 5 minutes at golden hour, I really think they spent all of their time enjoying themselves with their guests. I love the simple decor styling of just green and white, the ceremony barn and the sit down reception looked perfect (amazing flowers by the beautiful Elise from Hedges and Flowers).

I had met Shella at a couple of weddings over the last 10 years and it was an honour when I received an email asking if I was available to photograph their Paxos Wedding. Shella & Patrick had met not long before covid and when the lockdowns began in the UK they decided to travel to Paxos so they could be together surrounded by sunshine and no restrictions. A few weeks in Paxos turned into a few months and it was an obvious choice for their wedding location a few years later as they had fallen in love with the location.

The venue was simply breathtaking, with a perfect view of the harbour. Shella & Patrick turned a pool area into the most enchanting ceremony location. It was like stepping into a fairytale. After the ceremony the guests all spent some time taking in the view and catching up with friends over a cocktail (or 5). We then made our way through the charming fishing village, following a local band playing guitars to the restaurant (Bouloukos Taverna) for the evening.

Destination weddings like these are always so special as so much planning and organisation has to go into them (not a problem for these guys as they are both events organisers). Being able to showcase the beauty of Paxos through my lens was a true privilege. The island’s perfect beaches, charming buildings, and stunning landscapes provided the perfect backdrop for Shella & Patrick’s classy wedding.

My aim when photographing weddings is to capture the guests emotions, every smile, tear, and all the laughter. Shella & Patricks wedding was definitely not lacking in smiles and tears of joy!

Paxos is the perfect location for a wedding, from the moment I arrived on the island, I could see why they chose it as the location for their unforgettable destination wedding.

Georgie & Toby were married at Jacks Barn in Ashford Kent. This was the first time I had photographed at Jacks Barn and boy was I pleasantly surprised. Jacks Barn has such a lovely feel to it, it feels personal and the way that Georgie and Toby styled it was perfect. I loved the carpets that were used for the aisle. The guests were really good fun and didn’t let the sprinkle of rain dampen their spirits.

Rebecca & Alex booked me for their Winters Barn wedding such a long time before they finally got married- due to covid they had to postpone their wedding, but it was definitely worth the wait! What a fantastic wedding. Rebecca really did spend a long time styling their wedding and I loved photographing all the little details. I absolutely loved photographing their Prosecco spray. (and I somehow managed to only get a tad wet!) The outdoor ceremony at Winters Barns is in the perfect lighting location to take the most beautiful walking down the aisle shots.
