Hello! Thanks for enquiring! I’m currently free as a bird on your wedding date – which makes me rather happy! Choosing a photographer is such an important decision so I have put together this little page which should tell you even more about me and my photography services. I have been a full time wedding photographer for just over 11 years now and as you can probably imagine, I have photographed well over 500 weddings in that time – I’d say thats what defines me as a professional wedding photographer, and somehow I STILL love my job!
My style is natural, FUN, quirky, documentary, with a little bit of fine-art thrown in, the results are timeless and are photos you will love looking back over in years to come. I do also take a few group shots (to make the parents/grandparents happy) but I keep these to a maximum of 10 groups which means there’s more time for you to enjoy your day, and more time for me to take photos of you all enjoying yourselves!
The Fun Package and The Two Man Package both include the same full day coverage, this means I start my day a few hours before the ceremony to capture you getting ready. If you opt for a second shooter they will begin their day with the groom. If you start your day close together (for example, the same hotel) I’m more than happy to split my time between you both.
I will be there to photograph your bridesmaids/parents reactions as you glide into the room looking AMAZING. I will be there to photograph your pre ceremony nerves/excitement. I will also be there if you need a hand doing up your dress and pinning on corsages, as I seem to have a lot of experience in that!
I photograph the ceremony, the groups- if you want any (Ill send you a form to fill in prior to the wedding, so I have the group list to hand) , the photos of everyone enjoying themselves, the photo of your crazy aunty Wendy getting her heels stuck in the grass, the portraits, the speeches, the tears, the laughter, the first dance, and even some of the dancing. I won’t leave until I feel as though I have enough photos to tell the story of your day, this is usually 5 songs after the first dance. If you’d like me to stay until the end (just because you think your guests have got some great dance moves/think something crazy might happen) then thats available as an option to!
On the day I try and blend in as much as possible, I won’t hide myself away in a corner with a super zoom lens (and look a bit like a creepy stalker), instead I will be involved in all the action photographing the fun from the perspective of a guest, I’m not there to tell you to reenact a moment, I’m there to capture the moments as they happen. If grandma accidently knocks over the cake, I will be the first to leap in and take a photo (and then help her up). The biggest compliments I get are when couples tell me they hardly noticed me all day, and that I blended so well with the guests and yet they’ve received over 800 photos.
A lot of couples ask me how I go about photographing the couple portraits (as my photography style attracts couples that dislike having their photos taken). Typically I spend between 5-15 minutes photographing you two together, and I promise for those of you that hate having your photo taken, it’s really not as bad as it seems. Usually I will do 10 minutes during the day and if the sun sets I will whizz you out for another 5 minutes in the evening. I won’t tell you to smile at me. I won’t tell you to “hold a kiss” and make you feel awkward. I will put you in a cool position that suits you as a couple, do a bit of walking and then talk to you, make you laugh and play a few quick silly games to help everyone relax and actually enjoy themselves.
If you are umming and arhhing over whether or not you need a second shooter, generally I say if you have over 120 day guests I would recommend one, if you have less than that then you usually just need me for the day! If you’re having your ceremony at the venue I can generally photograph you walking down the aisle and sneak to the back mid way through to get both angles (I can’t usually do this in Church as there’s not usually an un- noticeable exit point). If you would like photos of you both in the morning but you only want one photographer I recommend sending the groomsmen to the venue a tad earlier and getting them to put their jackets, buttonholes, shoes on there for me to capture- that way I can get a few photos of you both in the morning.

A BIT ABOUT ME
I’m a rather happy person, and I’d say I spend 75% of my waking hours smiling. I live in a village called Bearsted with my husband, sons Hugo & Gerard and our massive dog Bauer. When I’m not at weddings I’m at home editing with Bauer attempting to fit under my desk (he hasn’t fit since he was 4 months old but that doesn’t stop him trying). I am a FEARLESS photographer, which is a group of the worlds best wedding photographers, I was also a regional finalist for the Kent Wedding Awards and National Wedding Awards in 2014/ 2015 and 2020. I have had images published on magazine covers such as Your Kent Wedding magazine, and have had weddings regularly featured in magazines and on online blogs such as Rock My Wedding. Almost all of my couples have found me through word of mouth/ recommendation which is amazing as they come to me already understanding my style and having seen my work first hand (and a good job because SEO isn’t my forte!)
Oh and I am fully insured too.
